Screen Surfaces Harkness is the world's largest manufacturer of PVC screen surfaces used in cinema and other applications requiring large projection screens, operated in dark or near-dark conditions. Harkness makes many custom screens for events such as product launches, conferences, awards ceremonies and film premieres. Often the staging, lighting, video and projection equipment used is supplied by the Rental and Staging sector. Screen surfaces suitable for front projection, rear projection, combined front and rear projection; and also for special scenic or lighting effects, are available. Screens can be custom made to exact size and shape (including special shapes) or screen material can be supplied off roll.
Folding Screen Systems
Harkness Easi-Rects and Monoblox 64 are widely used in the rental sector for temporary screens used at exhibitions, conferences, training seminars, etc. A range of sizes and surfaces are available ex-stock.
Other AV Screens
Harkness also supplies tripods and floor standing pull-up screens.
Inflatable Screens Airscreens are highly suited to the rental market, being compact to store and easy to transport and erect. They are primarily designed for outdoor screenings in dark conditions. Rear projection versions are available, which can be used indoors with some ambient light.
